Ciclo dell'acqua (Water Cycle) is a soundscape composition based on the sounds of water, in all its physical phases. It's about the continuous movement of water on, above and below the surface of the Earth through its different phases (liquid, solid and gas) and the influence of the human presence represented by steps, boat, alarm and airplane sounds and by the manipulation of sounds made by the composer.

As the composing part of Ciclo dell'acqua started in the end of 2013 in Helsinki, it starts with the sounds of the winter and ends with the autumn. The sounds used are from field recordings of water, snow, ice and vapor made in Italy and Finland in the time of one year.
